Pediatric Private Duty Nursing – Night Shift

Schedule: Full-Time | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Range: $26–$30 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) with pediatric private duty experience to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care for medically complex pediatric patients in their homes.
This night shift role is ideal for nurses who thrive in an independent setting while delivering high-quality, family-centered care. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled pediatric nursing care in a home setting

Administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, enteral, and IV)

Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning

Manage tube feedings and oxygen therapy
-
Monitor and manage seizure activity and neurological conditions
-
Provide wound care and post-surgical care
-
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, dressing, mobility)

Perform repositioning and support elimination needs
-
Monitor patient condition and document changes accurately

Maintain and review Medication Administration Records (MAR)

Communicate effectively with families and care team members
-
Travel as needed within the region to support assigned patients
Required Qualifications

Active Florida LPN license
-
Current CPR and First Aid certification
-
Ability to pass Level II background screening
-
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
-
Strong documentation and communication skills
-
Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients
